• Merchants/admins who use PlateForm, and
• End-customers who place orders on storefronts powered by PlateForm.

2) Roles

For our marketing site (e.g., when you submit a lead form), PlateForm is the data controller.

For merchant storefronts, the restaurant (merchant) is the data controller of its customers' data. PlateForm acts as the data processor on the merchant's instructions.

3) Data We Collect

Merchants/Admins

Account and business details (name, email, phone, brand info), login data, settings. Usage data about how the dashboard is used (device, browser, pages/actions).

End-Customers (via merchant storefronts)

Order details (items, notes, store/branch, timestamps, amounts). Contact details (name, phone; email optional). Delivery details (address and map pin). Communications metadata.

From all visitors

Device and log information (IP address, user agent, language, referrer). Cookie/consent preferences.

4) How We Use Data

Provide and improve PlateForm (host storefronts, process orders, send notifications). Authenticate users and secure the service. Generate merchant reports. Communicate with you. Analyze usage to improve performance. Comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases: performance of contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.

5) Sharing & Disclosures

We use reputable service providers to host and deliver the service. These providers act under our instructions as sub-processors. We do not sell personal data.

6) International Transfers

Personal data may be processed outside your country. We use reasonable safeguards and engage providers with appropriate security practices.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or operational requirements.

11) Messaging, Email & OTP

We send order updates via WhatsApp/SMS and email. Phone verification reduces failed orders.

12) Children

PlateForm is not intended for children under 13.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes.
